What does a photography session with me look like?

That is a really hard one for me to answer. Partly because I have always found it really hard to categorise my style of photography. Is it documentary, is it lifestyle, is it photo journalism is it a mash up of all these things or is it something completely different? The thing is, no two photo shoots ever really look the same.

So what can I guarantee you?

I can guarantee that everything will be ok. I can guarantee that you can be completely and utterly yourselves, whatever that may be, and we will make beautiful images from that place. It doesn’t matter if you think you are really awkward in front of the camera, that your kid skipped their nap and are now in full meltdown mode. I hold all this for you, I make space for connection and then we make some memories.

You will then get your images. They will be completely and utterly unique. Because they were made for your family. They may be different to what you expected, they may surprise you. The themes from my portfolio should still resonate there though. Story telling, light, movement, honesty, connection and a whole lotta love.

So feel free to peruse these blogs, they will give you a bit of an idea what a session looks like. But the whole truth is, you wont really know until you give it a go!
