I used to say boo to Halloween. My poor two older kids would beg me to do Halloweeny things and I was all "no we don't do Halloween in Australia and its just another way for shops to get more money out of you, blah, blah blah." Partly because its true, partly because I just didn't want to deal with another thing I had to find dress ups for. I was the Halloween grinch.

Well, we went trick or treating last year for the first time. Its quite popular in our area. It was awesome fun. This year we carved pumpkins for the first time. Also awesome fun. Am I a Halloween convert? Not sure yet, I'll have a think over my meatball eyes and spaghetti guts dinner and get back to you.
